A 40-year old New Lisbon man has been charged with drug related offenses this week.  According to the criminal complaint, while at a trailer near New Lisbon in December 2012 investigating another incident, the New Lisbon Police Officer was handed a bag containing 26-grams of a green/brown substance.  He also saw a digital scale, rolling papers, and a bong allegedly belonging to Robert Mason.  A sample of the green/brown substance was sent to the state crime lab.  The test results were received on August 29th, 2013.  The substance had tested positive for JWH-018, a controlled substance under the state synthetic law 961.14(4)(tL).  Mason is summoned to appear in court on October 9th, 2013.
