A 40-year old New Lisbon man has been charged with drug related offenses this week. According to the criminal complaint, while at a trailer near New Lisbon in December 2012 investigating another incident, the New Lisbon Police Officer was handed a bag containing 26-grams of a green/brown substance. He also saw a digital scale, rolling papers, and a bong allegedly belonging to Robert Mason. A sample of the green/brown substance was sent to the state crime lab. The test results were received on August 29th, 2013. The substance had tested positive for JWH-018, a controlled substance under the state synthetic law 961.14(4)(tL). Mason is summoned to appear in court on October 9th, 2013.
