An Elroy woman was cited following a traffic stop Thursday evening.  The deputy said he stopped a car on Highway 58 near Welch Prairie Road for having a license plate for a van.  The driver, 31-year old Tina Voltz, told the deputy they hadn’t transferred the registration yet.  Because the passenger is a suspect in a theft of prescription drugs, the deputy asked consent to search the car.  Voltz admitted to having marijuana in a pill container and a glass pot pipe.  She was cited for displaying a false vehicle registration plate and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Voltz’s fines totaled $716.
