A Mauston man was seriously injured as a result of a one-vehicle accident Saturday night.  The deputy said about 11pm 31-year old Timothy Taylor was traveling east on Highway 12/16 in the Town of Lemonweir.  He swerved to miss a deer at the intersection of County Road ‘O’ and lost control. The 1997 Saturn crossed the oncoming lane, struck a road sign and Oakdale Electric power pole before coming to rest in the ditch.  The airbag deployed and Taylor suffered an ankle injury requiring medical transport to Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston.  He was cited for ‘operating motor vehicle without insurance’ and fined $200.50.
