A Waupaca man was initially stopped in the City of Adams last month for a loud muffler but then arrested.  Police said on June 30th, 2013 52-year old Timothy Kendziora was stopped for an extremely loud exhaust.  When the officer approached the 1991 Toyota truck, she detected a strong odor of marijuana.  Kendziora admitted to smoking marijuana about 20-minutes prior to the traffic stop.  He failed the Field Sobriety Tests and was arrested for OWI.  A search of the pickup revealed a large ziplock plastic bag with a large amount of marijuana.  It weighed 153-grams.  There were also several small plastic ziplock bags and Kendziora had $1286.00 in cash in the pocket in his jeans.  He was transported to the Adams County Jail and tentatively charged with possession of THC with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, and OWI-1st offense.
