Stolen shoes
A Mauston man appeared in court Thursday afternoon via video conferencing from the jail for a bail hearing. 21-year old Jeffrey Miller had been arrested Tuesday for allegedly fraudulently purchasing two pairs of shoes using an unauthorized Eastbay account from a woman in Indiana. The shoes had been delivered to a vacant lot in the City of Mauston. During the hearing, bail was set at a $10,000 signature bond. A search of the residence where Miller was staying revealed the shoes and several firearms. Miller has been charged with identity theft, possession of a firearm by a felon, misdemeanor theft, and receiving stolen property.
