Two Sparta men were injured as a result of a one-vehicle accident Thursday morning.  Monroe County authorities said, “about 2am 23-year old Charlie Richards was traveling on highway 71 near Daylight Road in the Town of Littlefalls when he drove through a curve too fast.  The 2003 Buick LeSabre entered the ditch and rolled.  Richards and a passenger, 22-year old Joseph Frisk, received non-life threatening injuries and were taken by an unknown person to a Sparta hospital.  Richards was later arrested as a result of this matter.”
