A Sparta man was injured as a result of a one-vehicle accident Saturday morning.  Monroe County Sheriff Pete Quirin said, “about 3am 37-year old Osvaldo Valdivia was traveling west on Highway 33 near Cashton when he fell asleep.  Valdivia went off the roadway about 50-feet before jumping a rock culvert and then started to climb a steep hill.  He veered back onto Highway 33 when he stopped.  Valdivia was transported to a Sparta hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
