The Adams-Friendship School Board is moving forward with developing a formal legal agreement with GEITS, an Australian company, to place solar panels on the school buildings.  School Superintendent Steve LaVallee says, “We’re excited, but yet cautious.  We’d still be connected to the electrical grid with Alliant Energy for power during cloudy days.”  The Board also sees a connection with the curriculum.  “We could develop an Environmental Education Class internship in partnership with Mid-State Technical College’s Renewable Energy curriculum,” says LaVallee.
