Snowplow hits vehicle in Necedah leaving 3 yr. old in serious condition
A 3-year old Necedah boy was med-flown to a Madison hospital as a result of injuries received in a two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon. The sheriff said about 2 p.m., 28-year old Jeremy Suchomel was traveling west on County Road ‘G’ near Lakeside Court when the passenger side of his 1992 Mazda Coupe was struck by a Town of Necedahsnowplow. A passenger, 3-year old Caiden Suchomel was initially transported to Hess Memorial Hospital in Mauston and later med-flown to UW-Hospital with serious injuries. Sheriff Brent Oleson said “4-day old Landon Suchomel was transported to Hess Memorial Hospital for observation.” A 4th occupant, 23-year old Melanie Asplund, and the driver were uninjured. The driver of the snowplow, 68-year old Elmer Anderson of Necedah, was uninjured. The incident remains under investigation.
