Slippery conditions caused crash
Slippery road conditions resulted in a one-vehicle accident last Friday night. The deputy said at 9:45pm 20-year old Angela Teumer of Tomah was traveling west on County Road ‘A’ near 11th Avenue in the Town of Clearfield. The weather conditions had deteriorated severely due to heavy snowfall causing the road to become slippery. Teumer lost control and the 2008 Dodge Caliber went into a slide. The car left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver received minor injuries. A passenger, a 2-month old baby girl, Olivia Teumer, was in a car safety seat and uninjured.
