Shoplifting at Adams Dollar General store
A Friendship man was taken into custody as a result of a shoplifting incident. Police said last Wednesday evening 53-year old Richard Schaller had allegedly put several items from the Dollar General Store into a cart attached to a bike he had ridden to the Adams store. The items included laundry detergent, a pair of boots, and socks were not in a bag and Schaller had not paid for them. A search also revealed a pair of socks tucked inside his shirt. A records check showed Schaller was out on bond. He was arrested on three counts of bail jumping and transported to the Adams County Jail.
