There has been a one vehicle roll-over accident in the Town of Forest in Vernon County. According to a news release, the accident happened on Sunday night around 11:30. Sheriff John Spears said 50-year-old David Beck of Hillsboro was travel west on West Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle went off of the side of the road, down a steep embankment. Sheriff Spears said that the vehicle overturned and came to rest on the driver’s side. Beck was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hillsboro for precautionary reasons as Beck was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident. It remains under investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.
