The Village of Necedah will be pursuing funding for a new Public Safety Building.  Monday night the Village Board gave the Village Administrator Roger Herried and Village President Scott Carter authorization to seek funds from the Community Development Block Grant Program.  Herried said, “The new Public Safety Building will house an ambulance and police department.  Currently the Village contracts with the Camp Douglas Ambulance service and the ambulance is parked at the Village Business Incubator Building in the Industrial Park and the EMTs stay at a room at the Oak Grove Senior Community.  The Village contracts with the Camp Douglas Ambulance Service for $13 per person.”
