Public asked to avoid areas in Adams County
Trees and power lines are down in Adams County. The public is asked to avoid areas in central Adams County due to severe storm damage and possible tornado touchdown around 6:10pm Sunday evening. Adams County Emergency Director Jane Gervais said, “the public is asked to avoid the Cottonville area from Buttercup Avenue to 8th Avenue and Cree Avenue to 13th Lane. In the Arkdale area, the public is asked to avoid Highway 21 south to Cumberland Avenue and west to County Road ‘Z’. While state highways in these areas are open, local roads are closed. There has been no reports of injuries.”
