A Mauston man has been placed on a probation hold and incarcerated in the Juneau County Jail. 42-year old Jeffrey Miller has been charged with felony possession of methamphetamine drug paraphernalia. According to the criminal complaint, on Wednesday afternoon a woman had come to the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office to file a complaint that methamphetamine was being manufactured at a residence in the Town of Lemonweir. A search revealed several items used to make the illegal drug, including cold gelcaps, liquid fire, a lithium battery, and plastic tubing. A urine test at the jail showed the presence of methamphetamine and amphetamine. During a court hearing Thursday, bail was set at a $10,000 signature bond.
