A Prairie du Sac man was cited as a result of a one-vehicle accident earlier this month. The deputy said Sunday morning, June 17th, 2012, about 2:45 a.m. 43-year-old Kevin Krohn was traveling south on County Road K near Gavin Road in the Town of Seven Mile Creek when the 2004 Chevy Classic veered off the roadway, entered the ditch, traveled about 50-feet and struck a tree. Krohn fled prior to the law enforcement’s arrival. The deputy received a written statement from the driver at a later date saying he hit the shoulder and was pulled into the ditch. He fled the scene because he was scared and had a couple of beers. Krohn was cited for ‘failure to notify police of accident’ ‘and failure to keep vehicle under control’. His fines totaled $476.
