Possession with Intent to Deliver
A Mauston man was arrested Sunday night for possession of a Schedule IV Drug with intent to deliver. Police said 30-year old James Hillyer had ridden a bicycle into the parking lot at Walgreens with the intent to sell Clonazepam pills. An investigation revealed a bottle with the pills near the front tire of the bike next to the Red Box Movie Rental Kiosk. Hillyer was arrested for possession with intent to deliver. About the same time two juveniles were located at another parking lot at a business north of Mauston. One of the juveniles had a bottle of Clonazepam in the pants pocket. The Juneau County Sheriff’s Office is investigating that incident. During a court hearing Monday afternoon, Hillyer’s bail was set at a $5000 signature bond.
