Possession of firearm by felon
A Wisconsin Dells man has been charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. The deputy said in July 2013 he went to a residence in the Town of Strongs Prairie to investigate a report that 44-year old David Procknow had attempted to purchase a handgun in Columbia County. Procknow is a convicted felon and not allowed to possess a firearm. While at the residence, the deputy removed 5 rifles, two handguns, and 4140 bullets. A loaded .22 rifle was located on his son’s bedroom dresser.
