“The investigation of Adams Police Chief is ongoing,” said Adams City Administrator Bob Ellisor.  Chief Todd Hanson had been placed on paid administrative leave in early January pending a review of department policy.  Ellisor said Thursday morning, “we’re hoping to have some conclusion to the investigation next week.  That’s our goal.  At this time the investigation is a review of policy procedure, but if anything is learned during the course of the investigation, it could change to criminal.”  The officer-in-charge is Mark Klaus, who has been with the department for 20-years.
