Two Reedsburg man were injured when a pickup left the roadway and struck a tree in southern Juneau County.  The deputy said Thursday morning about 5:50am 21-year old Darren Helm was traveling south on County Road ‘K’ near Fitzgerald Road in the Town of Seven Mile Creek when he lost control while rounding a curve.  He told the deputy he was going about 40-miles per hour and there was loose gravel on the roadway.  A passenger, 27-year old Quinton Josett, was med-flown to a Madison hospital with incapacitating injuries.  Helm was medically transported to a local hospital.  He was cited for ‘failure to keep vehicle under control’ and ‘operating motor vehicle without proof of insurance.’  His fines totaled $223.10.
