A La Crosse man was cited for hitting a legally parked vehicle in the Village of Camp Douglas.  The deputy said earlier this month 53-year old Jon Kirschnick was traveling north on Douglas Street.  He appeared to be driving too fast when entering the Castle Street intersection.  Kirschnick made a wide turn and struck a parked truck.  Kirschnick told the deputy he had fallen asleep after making the turn.  He was cited for ‘inattentive driving’ and fined $187.90.
