Oxford man charged with growing marijuana
An Oxford man has been charged with manufacturing THC and possession of THC with intent to deliver. Last month the Adams County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at the Phillip Revels residence on County Road ‘A’ near Grand Marsh. A search of the barn revealed numerous marijuana plants hanging from inside the rafters. In an area north of the trailer house, nine potted marijuana plants were located along with nine marijuana plants growing in the ground. Numerous film containers with seeds were also collected. The 50-year old man told the investigator that he sold the marijuana an ounce at a time for $150 to $200 per ounce. During a court hearing, bail was set at a $3500 signature bond.
