Noise complaint at motel
Following an investigation regarding a noise complaint, a New Richmond man was taken into custody in the City of Mauston. Police said Wednesday morning about 3am an officer, along with a Juneau County deputy, responded to a motel on the City’s east side. The desk manager had received five complaints from other guests that two men had been loud all night and had gone into the hot tub after hours. A records check showed one of the men, 33-year old Steven Peterson, had an active body-only warrant out-of Saint Croix County. Peterson was handcuffed and transported to the Juneau County Jail.
