Two Mauston men were taken into custody over the weekend.  Police said 23-year old Colton Whitaker and 27-year old Jamie Price were arrested for bail jumping.  A condition of bond in previous criminal cases states ‘no contact’ between the two men.  Initially the officer was investigating a suspicious collection of boat batteries seen in a garage on Milwaukee Street in the City of Mauston.  After Whitaker and Price were arrested for bail jumping, a search of Whitaker’s wallet revealed stolen credit cards from a residence on Lyndon Road in southern Juneau County.  Whitaker was placed on a probation hold, tentatively charged with receiving stolen property, the credit cards, and bail jumping.
