The Necedah Village Board approved continuing the ambulance services with Camp Douglas Rescue Monday night during its Regular Monthly Meeting.  Necedah Village Administrator Roger Herried said, “The Board approved a 3-year contract through December 31st, 2016 at the same cost of $13 per person.” The Board also discussed the results of a survey regarding an Ordinance allowing chickens in Residentially Zoned areas in the Village.   Herried said, “The results were about 50/50 for and against.  The motion to go forward with drafting a chicken ordinance failed on a 3-3 vote.  The Board wasn’t able to break the tie because it’s short one Trustee as a result of Karen Ravenscroft relocating out of the Village of Necedah and resigning.”
