New Lisbon School Superintendent presented the W.K.C.E. student test data at the New Lisbon School Board meeting Monday night.  Dennis Birr analyzed the 2011-12 Wisconsin Knowledge and Concept Exams prior to the meeting.  Birr said, “the test scores revealed that four out of the five lower grade levels scored below the state average in Reading and the 5th through 8th grades fell below the state average in Math.”   “But noteworthy,” Birr said, “the New Lisbon 10th Graders had the 4th highest score on the Social Studies test in all of the 35 CESA 5 schools, and the 4th graders had the 3rd highest Science score and the 8th highest social studies score.”

New staff members, Special Ed teacher Leslye Keitner and 6th grade teacher Dan Sagert were introduced during the New Lisbon School Board Meeting Monday night. Business teacher Nancy Mischler was absent from photo.
