New Lisbon searches for new HS Principal
The New Lisbon School Board accepted the resignation of Junior High/High School Principal Scott Uppena at its monthly meeting Monday night. The Board expressed appreciation for his service to the New Lisbon School District and waived his $1000 penalty fee. Uppena took a similar position in the Royall School District but will continue to be accessible to New Lisbon staff. The Board then went into Closes Session to discuss the hiring of a new high school principal. Superintendent Dennis Birr said, “there were 29-candidates for the open position.”
