New Lisbon School District property tax payers will see an increase in their tax bills in December.  During a Special School Board meeting Monday afternoon, the Board approved a tax levy of 3.661-million dollars, an increase of $70,000 or 1.9-percent.  School Superintendent Dennis Birr said, “the mil rate will increase 44-cents to $10.66 per $1000 of valuation.  Property owners with a house valued at $150,000 in the New Lisbon School District will see a 31-dollar increase on their school portion of their property tax bills.”
