Sub Pay Policy and teacher compensation for the 2014-2015 school year were on the agenda for the New Lisbon School Board last (Monday) night. Under the new policy, substitutes would be paid $95 for a full day, an increase from $90 and for teaching a half day the pay will be $47.50, which is up from $45. The older policy has been in place since the 2004-2005 school year and the new policy is more comparable with sub pay polices from other school districts.  With the teacher compensation, the board approved to add $545 per cell in the salary schedule; according to the CPI this is 1.46% on base wages, which is CPI mandated. Board President Tom Hopper said that the teachers had already ratified the compensation.
