New Lisbon Man Charged With 4 Counts of Bail Jumping
A New Lisbon man has been charged with four counts of bail jumping and disorderly conduct. Last Thursday, the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a residence on Highway 58 in the Necedah Township for a disturbance. The victim told the deputy that 51-year-old Matthew Leu was intoxicated and being verbally abusive. The deputy made contact with Leu. According to the criminal complaint, Leu admitted to fighting with the victim and told the deputy he was not supposed to be drinking as a condition of his bond. He was arrested and transported to the Juneau County Jail without incident. A preliminary breath test at the jail showed that Leu’s blood alcohol concentration was .175.
