A New Lisbon man has been charged this week with burglary, misdemeanor theft, criminal damage to property, and four counts of forgery.  According to the criminal complaint, in December 2011 29-year old Daniel Matson allegedly broke into the Necedah Metals building on 18th Street in the Town of Necedah.  He allegedly cut the padlock off a lock box and stole several hundred dollars in cash and several blank checks belonging to the owner.  Matson allegedly passed the checks at local businesses in Mauston.  Matson is summoned to appear in court on November 28th, 2012.
