New Lisbon driver snaps power pole
A New Lisbon woman was cited as a result of a one-vehicle accident earlier this month. The deputy said 41-year old Lisa Rihn was traveling north on Highway 80 near Lechner Road in the Town of Plymouth when she entered the gravel then grassy area of the shoulder. The 2003 Pontiac Aztek struck an Oakdale Electric utility pole with the front passenger quarter panel and snapped it off. The vehicle continued until it came to rest in a deep ditch. Rihn was uninjured. She was cited for ‘failure to keep vehicle under control’ and fined $213.10.
