Necedah woman injured
A Necedah woman was seriously injured Thursday afternoon. The deputy said about 1pm 67-year old Joy Lightstorming was traveling north on Highway 80 south of Necedah. Lightstorming failed to notice the semi driver in front of her slowing as he made a left turn into the ethanol plant driveway. Lightstorming struck the corner of the trailer causing the 1997 GMC Safari to slide out-of control into a ditch and strike a tree. Lightstorming was medically transported to Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston. She was cited for ‘inattentive driving’ and fined $187.90. The operator of the grain truck, 43-year old Gary Loging of West Salem, was uninjured.
