A Necedah woman was moderately injured as a result of a two-vehicle accident on Necedah’s west side Thursday morning.  The deputy said about 9:45am….35-year old Leslie Georgeson was traveling west on Highway 21 when she slowed to make a left turn into the post office.  A semi traveling behind her vehicle struck the rear of the 1993 Dodge Grand Caravan causing it to spin clockwise.  The van struck the curb and overturned coming to rest against the John Street stop sign.  Georgeson was transported to Hess Memorial Hospital by Necedah Ambulance.  The driver of the semi, 51-year old Paul Ahles of Hopkins, Minnesota and a passenger were uninjured.  Ahles was cited for ‘inattentive driving’ and fined $188.
