“Necedah School Administrators and counselors made themselves available throughout the day Monday and where out and about in the buildings,” said Superintendent Larry Gierach.  “We met the elementary students as they came off the bus and when they were being dropped off by parents, just to greet them.  It was a good opportunity to see if the kids would say anything to us or ask questions.  And actually, I don’t think we had more than two or three in the elementary school even bring up the subject.”  The horrific event that occurred last Friday in Connecticut was more on the minds of the teaching staff than the students.
