A snowshoe hike is planned at the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge at the end of the month.  The public is welcome to strap on some snowshoes and enjoy a winter walk in the refuge on Saturday, January 29th, beginning at 2 p.m.  While on snowshoes, education and outreach coordinator at the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge, Daniel Peterson, will take visitors on a winter wilderness walk in search of birds and other wildlife.  The hike will travel at an easy pace.  Snowshoes will be provided or visitors may bring their own.  For additional information call the refuge at 608-565-2551.
