This week is National Volunteer Week and the Adams County Sheriff’s Office recognizes the well over 40 volunteers who work within 6 different programs offered in the Jail.  Sheriff Sam Wollin says, “The individuals within our Jail are members of our local community, who benefit from the skills taught and counseling provided by the volunteers.  The volunteers and services brought to the Jail are invaluable and appreciated.”  The six different programs offered in the Jail include alcohol and drug treatment support groups, living and employment skills groups, and Church and Bible studies.
