Mauston man taken into custody after running from police
A Mauston man was taken into custody following a foot pursuit by an officer. Police said Monday morning 26-year old Timothy Roggenbauer was walking towards the Mauston Police Department. Apparently Roggenbauer was wanted for an active warrant so officer Mike Zilisch yelled at him, “to come over.” Instead Roggenbauer started to walk quickly away towards State Street and then began running. Officer Zilisch followed Roggenbauer and located him hiding behind a dumpster. Roggenbauer was handcuffed, searched, and transported to the Juneau County Jail.
