A Mauston man received multiple citations as a result of a one-vehicle accident Saturday morning.  The deputy said about 12:30am 30-year old Timothy Bollig was traveling east on Cowan Road about a mile west of County Road ‘K’ in the Town of Seven Mile Creek when he failed to negotiate a curve.  Bollig told the deputy the 2010 Chevy Silverado truck had gotten too far off the side of the road.  The pickup rolled one time before coming to rest against a small maple tree on the edge of a steep embankment.  Bollig told the deputy that he did not call the sheriff’s office because his cell phone was out-of battery and he had walked home.  Bollig was cited for ‘failure to keep vehicle under control’, “failure to notify police of accident’, and for ‘driving too fast for conditions’.  His fines totaled $689.70.
