A Mauston man was injured while operating a farm tractor Friday morning.  Police said about 11:20am 20-year old Samuel Wiitanen was operating a 1979 John Deere tractor north on Attewell Street in the City of Mauston.  As he indicated a left turn onto Veterans Street, a 1999 Kensworth Gerke dump truck being operated by a Cashton man, 55-year old Larry West, attempted to pass the tractor and both vehicles collided.  West was uninjured.  He was cited for ‘passing at intersection’ and fined $114.00.
