A Mauston man is facing charges after being pulled over in Onalaska.  Authorities pulled over 35 year old Michael Dufay on August 10th for obstruction of the rear view mirror.  There were numerous beads hanging on the mirror.  Dufay became agitated when he found out why he was pulled over a ripped the beads off causing them to spill all over the car.  Dufay was escorted from the vehicle but would not cooperate.  Authorities believed he was reaching for a knife at one point.  A search of the vehicle found items such as personal identification and a checkbook that belonged to another person.  Law enforcement contacted that person who said the items had no reason to be in Dufay’s possession.  Dufay faces charges of Felony Bail Jumping and Misdemeanor Theft.
