A Mauston man has been cited as a result of a three-vehicle accident in the City of Mauston Thursday evening.  Police said about 6pm 82-year old William Hatch was traveling east on Madison Street when he rear-ended a 2007 Buick Lucerne stopped for the Lincoln Street stop sign being driven by a New Lisbon man, 67-year old Gerald Olson.  The impact caused the Lucerne to strike a 1998 Ford Taurus also stopped at the stop sign being driven by a Mauston woman, 40-year old Jodie St. Louis.  No one was injured and there was no damage to the Lucerne or Taurus.  The Hatch 2002 Suburban sustained minor damage.  Police said Hatch was looking wet and did not stop in time to avoid the accident.  He was cited for ‘inattentive driving’ and fined $101.40.
