Mauston man arrested
A Mauston man was taken into custody Thursday afternoon. Police said two officers and a Juneau County deputy responded to a residence in the 400-block of South Union Street in the City of Mauston. The woman had told police she was being held against her will. Investigation revealed 38-year old Raymond Coleman was controlling, but not holding her against her will and she was free to leave the residence. Further investigation revealed a 20-gauge shotgun and other firearms in the house. Coleman was arrested, transported to the Juneau County Jail, and charged with ‘felon in possession of firearm’.
