Mauston has a new City Administrator. The City has hired former Thorp City Administrator Randy Reeg.  The Council approved Reeg by a 6-1 vote.  Council Member Francis McCoy was the lone NO vote and declined to comment.  Reeg started his career as the interim City Administrator of Necedah before leaving for Thorp.  He will earn $84,000 to begin his salary. Reeg’s first day will be October 9th.  Reeg replaces former City Administrator Nathan Thiel who took the City Administrator position in the Village of Pleasant Prairie.
