Man admits to ‘hit and run’
A Grand Marsh man admitted he was the driver of a hit and run accident in the City of Mauston. Police said Wednesday morning 50-year old Mark Nicolazzi struck a 1993 Ford Thunderbird in the Mastermold parking lot in the City’s Industrial Park. Nicolazzi initially exited his 2008 Chevy Silverado pickup and kicked debris around the Thunderbird before leaving the scene. He later came to the Mauston PD saying ‘he wanted to make it right’. Nicolazzi was cited for ‘hit and run of unattended vehicle’ and ‘failure to file an accident report’. His fines totaled $291.00.
