After 81 years Lyndon Station will finally be getting a new well.  State utility regulators approved an $891,250 well project for the Village of Lyndon Station.  The DNR had ordered the Village to make improvements or replace the well by 2022.  The DNR first identified deficiencies in 2012.  Village President Larry Whaley Jr. stated it would be cheaper to purchase a new well then it would be to repair the existing one.  Whaley says a start date do begin the well has not yet been set but expects it will begin soon.
