Judge found probable cause
Juneau County Judge John Roemer ruled there was probable cause a felony had been committed and scheduled 20-year old Michael Klingbiel for an arraignment on June 19th. Following a preliminary hearing earlier this month, Judge Roemer took defense attorney Dan Berkos’ motion to dismiss under advisement upon further review of the transcripts. Tuesday, based on his review, Judge Roemer determined the low threshold of probable cause had been met and ruled against the motion to dismiss. Klingbiel has been charged with 2nd degree sexual assault of an unconscious victim.
