Interstate accident near Warrens
A two-vehicle accident occurred Monday morning on Interstate 90/94 near Warrens. The State Patrol said, “About 5:30am a Scranton, Pennsylvania man, 22-year old Daniel Saenz had pulled over for a non-emergency stop at mile marker 138 west bound near Warrens to switch drivers. 22-year old Diana Saenz had just merged back into the roadway after speeding up on the shoulder when the 2002 Dodge Caravan was struck squarely from behind by a Pontiac G6 being driven by a Chippewa Falls man, 40-year old Daniel Le Quia. Diana and Daniel Saenz and 3-year old Isaac Saenz were transported to Tomah Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Le Quia received minor injuries. Law enforcement action is pending.”
