An Elroy man has been charged with battery by prisoner, strangulation, and disorderly conduct.  According to the Juneau County Jail deputy, on Sunday, December 9th, 2012, 26-year old Dennis Schultz allegedly struck another inmate in the head and had him in a choke hold for several seconds in ‘G’ pod in the main jail.  The inmate never lost consciousness, but did start to see black.
