In An Effort To Avoid a Deer, a Grand Marsh Woman Rolls Her Car
A Grand Marsh woman has been involved in a car accident. On November 3rd, Sunday morning around 3:30 a.m., Kristy Studey was traveling south on County Road G near County Road F in Armenia Township. A deer was in the roadway and she swerved to avoid hitting it. Studey went into the other lane and hit the ditch. Her vehicle rolled twice and came to rest on its wheels. Studey was uninjured and was the only occupant in the vehicle. Her car suffered severe damage. When asked by the officer for insurance, she said that she did not have any. She was a mailed a citation for having no proof of insurance.
